Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father had left the family when she was young. Brink was just 14 when she became pregnant, and dropped out of the school. When she had their son Davion she lived in an apartment and began working in an area laundromat in order to pay for her rent and food. In 1995 Brink began her own band Pulse which was based in Albany New York. The band mostly opened local shows for bands such as Coal Chamber and Sevendust. However, the members of the group later broke up. They made the move to Los Angeles in 2002, in her late 20s, looking for her break. Brink performed and was employed at cafes and bars while she looked for the perfect band. In an audition, she found herself reunited with Chris Howorth two years after having met Chris Howorth. Howorth was hesitant to let her audition due to the fact that she was female. He quickly changed his mind and apologized to her after listening to her singing. The band was created with Jeff Fabb and them, as well as guitarist Blake Bunzel. Then guitarist Blake Bunzel joined the band together with bassist Josh Newell. In This Moment was the band's name after the band's first two shows.
